Children

The aim of all our children’s work is to share God’s amazing love with every child who we have contact with.  We run Sunday groups and also a Toddler Group and midweek kids club. We, along with the youth work, are part of the Urban Saints group and as such have access to training and activities provided by the organisation, both for our leaders and the children.

Sunday Morning Activities

We aim to provide age appropriate activities for our children from birth to the end of Primary school. We seek to share our faith with the children and help them develop biblical knowledge and their own faith in God, we want each child to know that God loves them. No two Sundays are the same – examples of activities are – crafts, bible stories, quizzes, cooking, games, finding out about each other and much more. On a Sunday morning children join their families in church for around 20 minutes then leave to go to their classes. Once a month we have an All Age service where only the youngest two groups have a class, crèche and pre-school, all other children remain in the service.

Our Sunday morning groups are as follows:

  • Crèche – of course parents may chose to keep their baby in the service with them.
  • Pre-school (age 3+)
  • Reception/ Year 1 Class
  • Years 2/3
  • Years 4/5
  • Year 6

Other Activities

There are other activities throughout the year for families such as Light Party, Breakfast in Bethlehem (Christmas craft morning), React family fun days. These will be advertised on the website when they are coming up.
