At Lymm Baptist we are very blessed to have a large number of wonderful young people and a gifted group of leaders who are committed to teaching and discipling them. Our aim is to help them make the transition from their children’s groups into the youth programme where they are encouraged to find a personal relationship with God and strengthen their own faith. Our heart is to enable them to see who God really is, equip them to grow in their gifts by serving others and to look outwards to seek justice and mercy in missional opportunities like Love Lymm, Rebuild and others nationally and internationally.
We have a group called Energize for those in Years 7-11 which meets weekly except when family services are on. A rota of leaders and helpers work through a broad range of topics and activities, using a variety of teaching material and resources.
Each week there’s tea/coffee and toast to wake us up on a Sunday morning! We also spend time praying, reading the bible, worshiping Jesus and spending time together in fellowship.
Encounter (Years 7-9)
Encounter is a group for those in year 7-9 who want to explore the Christian faith a little further. We’ll meet in the Lymm Baptist Youth Basement from 18:30-20:00 every Sunday!

Revolve (Years 10-13)
There are a variety of subjects worked through with a heart to disciple and encourage our young people to have a living faith that equips them to live in a young person’s world today. We encourage them to have mentors and work through material and subjects in a fun way that feeds them and encourage them to grow. We also take them away on weekends throughout the year and encourage them to be involved with mission trips like Rebuild.
We meet at leaders houses every Sunday from 18.15-20:15. For more information, speak to Darren Staunton.
Many of our young musicians are a part of Voice, a ministry run by Simon Smith.
Rebuild is a mission trip we do as a church every two years that takes our young people out to Mexico or South Africa to build houses for the homeless. They fundraise to go and the trip consists of building in the day and enjoying teaching and fellowship in the evenings.
