Prison Fellowship at Her Majesty’s Prison’s Thorn Cross, Styal and Forest Bank (Salford)
The active Prison Ministry team at LBC, led by Arthur Chapman, volunteer with the Christian Charity Prison Fellowship (PF). We are involved in all four of the main programs of PF:
- Prayer Groups (meets first Tuesday each month)
- Letter Writing (securely supervised via post box and pen names),
- Angel Tree (sending gifts to children of prisoners at Christmas and at some Family Visit Days)
- Sycamore Tree, the flagship program of Prison Fellowship which teaches offenders about Restorative Justice and Victim Awareness.
