Developing Your Gifts ….

GiftsOn Saturday 16th September, we’ll be having a Church Away Day at home where our theme will be Developing Our God Given Gifts…

Colossians 3:17: ‘And whatever you do whether in word or in deed do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father through Him’

God’s heart is to be in relationship with His people….that all may know salvation and a personal journey where God delights in blessing us with abundant gifts. He longs that we know our value in Him and learn how to be more like Him and to share the blessings that He has given us freely. This is important whether you have been a Christian for years or are just beginning!

God wants us to use the gifts, passions, abilities, hopes and dreams that He gives us to build His Kingdom….whatever season of life we are in right now….we have purpose in Christ.

Sadly we live in a world that is too busy, selfish, trapped by other things and that does not encourage our gifts to be used….for some of us we may not know what our giftings are or may not have had opportunity to use them or experience them. For some our passions may have run cold or be too wounded or worn…God wants to meet with all of us this weekend wherever we are. In this season of change that we are moving into at LBC this will be a significant weekend for us as a church but also as individuals….so don’t miss out, come and join us!
